If you live in a dry climate and rely on drip irrigation, you may have experienced the same frustration I did.
Most granular fertilizers instruct you to "work fertilizer into the soil and water in." That sounds simple—unless much of your landscape is covered with decorative rock like mine.
For years, I spread fertilizer over the rock around my trees and shrubs, watered it in, and hoped for the best.
Eventually, curiosity got the better of me. I pulled back some of the rock around several plants and discovered fertilizer granules still sitting on the soil surface from previous applications! I was wasting time and money, but more importantly, my trees and plants weren't getting the nutrients they needed!
That's when the idea for FertaRoot was born.
FertaRoot uses your drip irrigation water to carry nutrients directly into the root zone where plants can actually use them.
